What To Expect
a warm, welcoming, gospel-loving people with whom you can worship, hear the word, and experience life with!
Our Sunday Gatherings
We begin together as a church family in the sanctuary for a time of Scripture reading and singing praise. There is a time of prayer, announcements, and greeting. We then invite parents to escort their children to the classroom for children’s church. This is not a requirement for children, but an opportunity for learning at their age level. We return from the greeting time to hear from the word, and respond in worship through song, communion, and benediction. We value expository sermons at Hope. This means we make it a point to understand what the Scripture meant to its original audience, how it revealed the character, nature, and glory of God, and how it shapes and transforms our heart and mind to the mind of Christ. We hold the conviction that we take communion every Sunday. This is a time to remind us of the gospel of Jesus, his death, resurrection, and return, which saves and sanctifies us!
We currently are running one classroom, and hope to return to a second classroom in the near future. The content is directed for ages 3-6, but we will permit children ages 7-10 if desired! We do not require children to mask, as we understand children are not the primary spreaders of the current CV19. Children of all ages are also welcome to stay in the sanctuary through the duration of the worship service.
Bible Studies, Table Groups and Other Ministries
We have gatherings throughout the week to encourage your faith within our gospel community. Our church body is dispersed over the Hillsboro, Beaverton, Tigard, and Dundee areas. We have women’s bible studies, and men’s gatherings. Please contact us if you’d like to join a gathering and we will connect you to the group right for you!
We meet at 10am on Sunday mornings at 5215 SE Golden Rd., Hillsboro, OR 97123.
We would love to see you there!
We encourage people to take appropriate precautions according to their own need and convictions. We do not police our people but ask them to be mindful and respectful of others worshiping in the room. We have three spaces people are able to watch and worship with the body if the sanctuary is uncomfortable.
