Membership Class

If you aren’t a member and have questions or are interested about becoming one, this class is for you! It will take place every Sunday from 11:45am-12:45pm from October 6 – November 10.

To Hope…

Church membership is God’s gracious means of affirming our identity in His family for His glory. For us, it is joyful commitment to Christ our King and the local church body, Hope Fellowship. Through membership, we affirm and express our love and commitment to Christ Jesus as we submit ourselves to his authority, to the scriptures, to one another, and the leadership of the local church. And, the church body affirms the membership of the individual as part of the body of Christ. The outcome of membership is that we, as the body, would lovingly care for one another, build each other up in our most holy faith, and equip each other for every good work prepared for us in Christ Jesus. We welcome to membership those who: confess and believe that Jesus is Lord; live a life of faith bearing fruit of the Spirit; are in submission to Christ and His church, evidenced by regeneration, repentance, faith, and baptism; and submit to the doctrinal standards of scripture as laid out in our statement of faith at Hope Fellowship. The members of the church have responsibilities in the church to serve, give, pray, disciple, and partake in affirming decisions for our church body. Because of such responsibilities, we ask that an individual be part of our body for a period of time before they become a member at Hope.
