Eldership
Hope Fellowship is led by a plurality of elders as defined in the books of 1 Timothy and Titus.
Hope currently has four elders:
Bobby Gaither, Cris Comp, Reid Kisling, and Marcus Elmer

Bobby Gaither
Elder / Lead Pastor
Bobby is the lead pastor at Hope Fellowship. He has been gloriously married since 2006, is the father of four radiant children, and owner of a rescued pit bull! He enjoys people, craft coffee, reading, and music. He’s an avid Portland Trailblazer fan. Above all, his heart sings when talking about the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. He studied at Western Seminary.

Marcus Elmer
Elder / Director of Administration
Marcus serves at Hope as an elder and the Director of Administration, desiring to support and help organize the work of Christ’s church. He is married to his wonderful bride, Kahori, and has two grown daughters, Rachel and Rebecca. Marcus loves hiking, backpacking, road trips, national parks, home improvement projects, and reading. He studied at Western Seminary.

Cris Comp
Elder / Director of Worship
A transplanted Texan, the trees, mountains, and rivers of Oregon have become home over the last 20 years. Cris and his wife, Lynn have been married almost 30 years, and have two grown sons, Cristopher and Jaysen. Cris grew up in a faithful home in Austin and has followed after the Lord his whole life. He and Lynn met serving on worship teams in Austin and have continued to lead and serve in many local churches over the years. A whirlwind romance and two awesome boys later, they ended up in Beaverton. He attended Western Seminary for graduate and post-grad work. Cris loves the outdoors, including hiking, kayaking, and napping in the wilderness.

Reid Kisling
Elder
Reid serves as an Elder.

Ryan Harding
Director of Children & Youth Ministries
Ryan serves at Hope as the director of children as well as the director of youth ministries. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, talking about theology, and friendly competition.

Chantal South
Administrative Assistant
Chantal works part time in the office at Hope Fellowship. Her favorite past times include music (playing it, writing it, recording it), board & video games, and being with family.
