I'm New

Our Sunday Gatherings

We begin together as a church family in the sanctuary for a time of Scripture reading and singing praise. There is a time of prayer, announcements, and greeting. We then invite parents to escort their children to the classroom for children’s church. This is not a requirement for children, but an opportunity for learning at their age level. We return from the greeting time to hear from the word, and respond in worship through song, communion, and benediction. We value expository sermons at Hope. This means we make it a point to understand what the Scripture meant to its original audience, how it revealed the character, nature, and glory of God, and how it shapes and transforms our heart and mind to the mind of Christ. We hold the conviction that we take communion every Sunday. This is a time to remind us of the gospel of Jesus, his death, resurrection, and return, which saves and sanctifies us!

Children’s Church

Our children’s ministry serves children from birth to about ten years old. Children begin in the sanctuary with their parents for scripture and song, they are then dismissed during greeting time to their respective classrooms. Classrooms are divided based on content and reading level. We have a nursery, preschool to second grade class (learning to read), and upper grade school class (independent reader). We use the Gospel Project curriculum in our Sunday school. The morning class consists of games, a snack, lesson, and song.

We meet at 10am on Sunday mornings at 5215 SE Golden Rd., Hillsboro, OR 97123.

We would love to see you there!
